According to Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Caprock Canyons State Park has launched its new shuttle, the Doodlebug, which gives up to 14-passengers unique sightseeing opportunities to explore the Caprock Canyonlands and guided tours down the trailway for bat-viewing tours and spectacular views. Maybe catch a glimpse of the Official Bison Herd of the State of Texas.

Visitors can stay comfortable in the vehicle, while still getting a spectacular outdoor experience in the open-air electric Doodlebug.

Named for the 1930s passenger Burlington Doodlebug train that transported riders to destinations along the Fort Worth and Denver South Plains Railroad, the Doodlebug will follow the same route via the Caprock Canyons Trailway and state park roads.

For more information, call visit the park's website or call (806) 455-1492.
