Another three-day weekend is upon us, and with it comes the legendary "Fort Griffin Fandangle," fishing tournaments, a western swing festival, Stonewall's Peach Jamboree and Rodeo, and more.

Events across the state keep dear ol' dad in mind this weekend.

Bassmaster Open

Orange: June 14-17
The tournaments feature fields of 150-200 pros and the same number of co-anglers trying to amass the heaviest limits of bass. Anglers will compete for a portion of more than $250,000 in cash and prizes, including a boat and motor package. The winning pro gets more than $50,000 in cash and prizes, including a chance to compete in the Super Bowl of bass fishing, the Bassmaster Classic.

Cowboy Reunion and Rodeo

Big Spring: June 15-17
Enjoy a parade, mutton bustin' and Shetland bronc riding, and evening dances featuring Jake Hooker and the Outsiders on Friday night and Rocky King Band on Saturday night. 

Legends of Western Swing Music Festival

Wichita Falls: June 15-17
Since lawn chairs first circled the "stage wagon" 30 years ago, this festival has hosted the finest western swing bands in the country. Legendary musicians that played with Bob Wills himself—as well as new bands with a love for music and the desire to keep it alive—have graced the stage and kept the fans happy and dancin'.

Corn Festival

Holland: June 15-17
This is the 43rd year Holland has celebrated the local cash crop. Events include a parade, a 5K run, contests, a dance concert, barbecue cookoff, arts and crafts, and a carnival.

"Fort Griffin Fandangle"

Albany: June 16-17, 23-24 
Texas' longest-running outdoor musical features more than 250 performers representing the authentic look and feel of the Old West through fun and humor. A parade runs through downtown June 17 at 5 p.m.

Texas Game Warden Fishing Tournament

Rockport: June 16-17 
The Texas Game Warden Association will host its eighth annual fishing tournament and concert in Fulton Harbor Park.

Stonewall Peach JAMboree and Rodeo

Stonewall: June 16-17 
This annual two-day celebration of the peak of the peach season in Gillespie County includes peach judging, the crowning of The Peach Queen, a parade, food, music, and a rodeo. 

Texas Conjunto Music Hall of Fame Induction Awards and Dance

San Benito: June 17 
Legendary Conjunto musicians are recognized at Knights of Columbus Hall for their contribution to this music that celebrates Hispanic heritage. A public dance follows the induction ceremony.

Pride Houston 2

Pride Houston Festival and Parade

Houston: June 18-25 
More than 300,000 people attend this weeklong celebration each year, making it the second largest parade in Houston and the largest Pride Parade or LGBT gathering in the Southwestern United States.

Western Days

Elgin: June 18-24 
Festival week begins with the Tiny Tot and Miss Western Days Pageants, followed by a carnival, a dance, a parade down Main Street, and a festival in Elgin Memorial Park with live music, arts and crafts, delicious food vendors, and activities for the kids.

A Juneteenth Celebration of Texas Music

Austin: June 19

Many of Texas’ finest musicians—including Houston's Jones Family Singers, and The Peterson Brothers—will pay homage to subjects in Michael Corcoran’s new book, "All Over the Map: True Heroes of Texas Music," with a fast-moving show at the Continental Club on Juneteenth.
