Downtown Lighting Ceremony & Street Dance

Downtown Kingsville will be full of magic as the annual lighting ceremony is set to begin at dusk when the town’s store rooftops become illuminated along with the street lamps. Downtown merchants are asked to follow tradition and help adorn their store fronts in the spirit of the holiday season. The H.M. King High School choir gathers on Friday evening at the Train Depot Museum grounds -- where the city's tree is located -- and sing Christmas songs prior to the countdown to light up downtown. The street dance begins at dusk on Friday once the lighting has occurred, and will feature a country Western band which will be set up in front of the steps of Kleberg First National Bank.
