Harper, founded as a Confederate town in 1863, celebrates its 150th anniversary with a cowboy breakfast, 10 a.m. parade, Civil War cannon salute, Dutch oven cook-off, beard contest, pinewood derby races, games, art, live music, an antique car show, antique toys on display, flint knapping, a cake walk and booths. Harper Community Park.
