TH Tip: San Marcos' MR Fest
April’s TH Traveler included a Spotlight on San Marcos’ Biplane Fly-in on April 28. Here’s the scoop on San Marcos’ 5th annual My Radio (MR) Fest, a weekend full of free music April 26th through the 28th. KTSW, Texas State’s radio station, organizes MR Fest and brings over 90 artists to venues around downtown San Marcos. Events kick off Thursday with a launch party giveaway and music at the Tantra Coffee House, and on Friday the shows take place at the Texas Music Theater. A variety of coffee houses and theaters host Saturday’s daylong concerts. This year’s headliners are rock acts White Denim and Black Pistol Fire. The Square is at 126 North LBJ Drive.
