Serves 2 to 3
1 medium mango (one medium papaya can be substituted)
2 T. orange juice
2 T. lime juice
2 T. granulated sugar dissolved in 1 T. hot water
1 jalapeño, seeded and finely diced
Peel mango and cut the pulp away from the seed. Place juice and pulp in blender with orange juice, lime juice, sugar-water mixture, and diced jalapeño. Puree until smooth (about 1 minute).Pour mixture into small mixing bowl and place in freezer for one hour. Remove and whisk vigorously. Return to freezer for at least two hours.
