2 c. mincemeat
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. butterbrandy or rum to taste
Combine all ingredients and place in 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with cobbler crust. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly and crust is brown.
2 c. biscuit mix
1/4 lb. soft butter (not melted)
6 T. boiling water
Put biscuit mix in bowl with soft butter. Pour in boiling water. Mix with a fork till mixture forms a ball. Grease hands and pat out piece of dough. Place on cobbler.
