Salted Pecans

Bake a single layer of pecans on a baking sheet at 400 degrees until brown. Watch them; shake the pan if necessary. 

Remove and pour on 1 T. melted butter per c. of pecans. Salt well, and add 1/8 tsp. of cayenne pepper (optional). Drain pecans on plain paper before storing.
