Rice Olé

Only Microwave Instructions Available 

Makes 6 servings 

1 c. EACH chopped onions and green peppers 
1/2 c. finely chopped celery 
1 T. butter or margarine 
1 tsp. EACH chili powder and garlic salt 
1 can (14 1/2-oz.) peeled whole tomatoes, chopped 
3 c. cooked rice (1 c. raw rice will make 3 c. cooked) 


Combine onions, peppers, celery, and butter in 2 1/2 quart microwave-proof baking dish. Cover and cook on HIGH six minutes. Add seasonings, tomatoes, and rice; stir. Cover and cook on HIGH four minutes. Let stand five minutes.
