Sprawling some 120 miles across four Panhandle counties, Palo Duro Canyon cuts an 800-foot-deep gash in the Llano Estacado. Some of the most spectacular canyon scenery is readily accessible to the public at Palo Duro Canyon State Park and Caprock Canyons State Park.
